I seriously have a chocolate addiction

Why hello there, chocolatey chocolate cookie, oh so nice to meet you.  And eat you.  All 3 dozen of you.  Oops.

Inspired by a recipe I found on my good friend Megan's site, NewlyWife, these cookies are gooey, rich, and taste like chocolate pudding and fudge brownies mixed together.

Don't ask what I mean by that, just bake and see.  They taste like pudding and brownies.

And they're easy!  Pre-heating, mixing, baking, eating, altogether took a total of maybe 30 minutes.

Here's what you'll need:

1/2 Cup Butter, softened (1 stick)
8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
1 Egg
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 Box Devil's Food Cake Mix (I know, I know, I usually bake from scratch, but trust me on this one!)

2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit.  Grease two large cookie sheets and set aside.

2. Blend butter and cream cheese together.  Add egg and vanilla.  Add cake mix and blend until well combined, making sure to scrape sides of mixer as you go.  Batter will be incredibly thick.  Stir in chocolate chips.

3. Drop by tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets.  Bake at 375 degrees for 9-10 minutes.  Cookies will appear slightly undercooked, but don't over-bake them or you'll have dry chocolate cookies instead of gooey chocolate cookies.  Not fun.

4. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks.  Pour a glass of milk.  Eat ASAP.  Share if you feel like it.

Makes about 3 Dozen Cookies.
